living with cancer

This is the one diary I should have kept 14 years ago and one I wish I did not feel the need to keep now. I was diagnosed with bone cancer in 1992 and survived. 2006 and I now have another tumor under investigation: the journey begins again..

Friday 16 June 2006 – Physiotherapy #5

Another scorcher of a day and another good workout: its just like being at the gym, but for geriatrics and invalids.

After gym I spoke to one of the chest clinic nurses, Tracey Vein, who was over the moon with my results from Tuesday. I will be glad for all the right reasons if I never see the chest clinic staff again, but if I ever need them I know they are there for me and countless others – they do an excellent job.
